      The trophy will go to the campaign that most effectively utilized commerce-first content to drive sales on social media

      This category recognizes the best use of content originally created/generated by consumers/customers

      Best multi-video campaign used on social media platforms

      Awarded to the best use of social networks to create viral content and buzz

      Best use of images or videos in a social media campaign to get the message across

  • Year-Round Use Of Social Media Platforms

    This group of categories recognizes a brand’s use of, activation, and presence on a specific social platform. Judges will consider efforts to grow follower counts and engage an audience on the platform.

    Note: This is not where you would enter a Facebook campaign. But it is where you would enter how you’ve been using Facebook across, during and between campaigns.

    All entries must be submitted by April 28, 2023. Finalists will be notified in May 2023.

    Who’s Eligible?

    The Social Media Marketing Awards are open to all agencies, corporations, nonprofits/associations, and government organizations. National and international entries are accepted. To be eligible, the campaigns or initiatives you are highlighting must have taken place (either in part or in full) one year from the entry deadline date.

    Entry Fees

    The price of each primary entry is $450. If you are submitting a secondary entry of the same campaign into any additional categories, the price will be $275 per additional category. A late fee of $199 will be applied to entries submitted after March 24. Payment in full must accompany the entry. Entry fees are not refundable. 

    Submission Requirements

    All campaigns entered will be required to submit a synopsis describing campaign content including all of the following areas:*

    • What was the goal of the campaign?

    • What metrics set the stage for the work your campaign sought out to do?

    • What was the thinking and the strategic approach behind your work?

    • What actions did your campaign take or how was your campaign implemented?

    • How was success measured for this campaign? What metrics show that this campaign performed well and met its goals?

    • Supporting Materials can include anything that best represents the success of your work. Examples include:

      • Press Materials
      • Testimonials
      • Research Documents
      • Videos
      • Photos

    Individual & Team Entries

    Nominees for individual and team awards will be required to submit the following:*

    • Outline the reason why this person or team should be named a finalist.

    • Please provide full details of the person or team’s role in the organization and how they implement social media into their daily work.

    • How has this person or team impacted their organization’s social media efforts? What metrics show their impact? How have they stood out on social media and better engaged audiences?
