Jessica Schindelar, MPH is the social media lead in CDC’s Office of the Associate Director for Communication, providing leadership and oversight to the agency’s social media team, most recently leading social media during CDC’s responses to the ongoing Zika outbreak and the 2014 Ebola epidemic. She has served in a variety of roles managing social media at CDC over the past eight years, including managing the CDC Director’s social media presence. Jessica holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, and a BS in Neuroscience from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
