It was a very productive 2017 for Amanda Busch of Deloitte Global SAP Practice. During just the last two quarters of the last calendar year, her social media undertakings amassed over 6,800 impressions, created 2,700 new followers and guided 24,000 visitors to the practice website.
The Deloitte Global SAP Practice—for which Busch is the lead for global SAP marketing—consists of over 16,000 internal practitioners and hundreds of external clients and prospects.
According to a colleague, Busch is a successful professional because she is “passionate about driving innovation and pushing the envelope on how digital tools can be used to resonate with internal and external audiences.”
Busch said she is always looking to explore different approaches to her work. “There’s always a creative twist to be found or a new technique to be tried,” she observed. “And this sense of exploration is what makes my job so much fun.”
Busch takes an original approach with her work and has held annual internal Twitter contests to push social media participation. She has also held educational campaigns featuring tips, tricks and “how to” guides. And she crafts brief, sharable content, including Twitter cards and event-related posts.
She also communicates with executives and keeps them updated on the usefulness and impact that social media content brings to the table. “Amanda is passionate about driving innovation and pushing the envelope on how digital tools can be used to resonate with internal and external audiences,” states her colleague.
